The Private Equity panel I sat on Monday night was literally in the hotel (The Hampshire House) located directly above the outside bar shot they used on Cheers. But anyone who has been to 84 Beacon Street knows what a rip-off it is. No one knew my name, no one was glad I came, the bar looks nothing like it did on TV, but the beer is very cold.
