I LOVE LA??

I arrived in LA yesterday morning to this advertisement in the airport. Not the best way to start your day. What kind of sick mental patient would vandalize the man himself? And if you are going to deface Hasselhoff, why not go after the rest of them too. I mean, what's so great about Montegna? Has he ever tunneled under SAND to reach a lifeguard stand with only the help of one re-breather and no mask, to take out a terrorist who was holding a female lifeguard and members of the general public hostage? I don't think so. Hey, I'm always up for, as Mitch says above "... a whole lotta fun!" but this is not fun; it's not funny! I informed LAX Airport management, security and maintenance staff, so I'm sure it's been fixed by now!

OOOOHHHH, MEXICO!

I took a run south of the Border Sunday down to Rosarito Beach, about a half hour south from Tijuana. Watching the Eagles win at a beachside bar with some delicious tacos and ice cold dollar Tecates - it doesn't get much better than that!
You can rent a horse to ride for an hour on the beach for $10! The angle of this shot is deceiving - he may look small, but "The Mexican Seabiscut" as I nicknamed him, was a lot of horse! We took him from a trot to a canter, at which time I literally almost fell off. My guide asked me if I wanted to gallop, but a language barrier prevented me from adjusting my stirrups, so I declined. It was still a beautiful day and a great ride.

Fresh churos and ice cold Corona beachside. Does it get any better than this??
"Don't know where I'm goin'
I don't like where I've been
There may be no exit
But hell I'm going in!
Yo quiero a bailar en Mexico..."
